Our Disney Adventure

We started out our summer with a visit to Disneyland and California Adventure. We decided to surprise the kids so we packed up the car without telling them where we were going. We picked Christian up at school on his last day of school and headed up to Anaheim. The whole drive up there they were trying to guess where we were going. They had no idea what was in store for them. Boy were they surprised when they saw the Disneyland park! We checked into our hotel and walked around Downtown Disney. The next morning we went to Disneyland. We had a great time. It wasn't too hot or too crowded. After a good nights sleep in the hotel we headed to California Adventure for another day of fun and excitement.

One of our family's favorite rides is the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. Notice that Christian cleaned Mommy and Daddy's clocks on this one. Lily didn't do too bad either.

Here's Christian peering through the submarine porthole on the Finding Nemo ride.

Here's Lily on the new Finding Nemo ride.

Christian poses with Chip. Can you tell Chip and Dale apart?
I can, ask me the secret.

Having fun at California Adventure park.

The Cats are part of the family too.

Here are our two cats Amber and Baboo. Amber is a beautiful ginger Tabby and she was my cat before I married Alex. She is very affectionate with me, but avoids Alex, the kids, and Baboo. Baboo is an all black dumpster cat. I call him a dumpster cat because a dear friend found him and his two brothers in a dumpster when they were only a few days old. Alex fell in love with him and said he wanted to take him home so that he would "have a pet that liked him." After bringing Baboo home we realized why he may have been left in a dumpster. He is a very bad cat. He is also very loving.

Happily Married

I am married to a man that I love and appreciate. He is a hard worker and puts the needs of me and the kids above his own. Alex is very generous with me and the kids. He's an involved and loving father to our children. We have a lot of fun together. Here's a picture of us that was taken while we were in Puerto Vallarta this summer.

Getting Started

I decided to start this blog as a creative outlet for me and a way to share our pictures and provide updates to our family and friends. It's a place where I can brag about my wonderful family. God has blessed me with a great husband and two terrific kids that I love very much. Go ahead and post a comment. Let me know what you think.
