Our Fun Family Vacation in Puerto Vallarta

This year we were very blessed to take a vacation to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. My dear friend Sabrina and her family joined us and we all had a great time. We enjoyed the beach, the swimming pool, delicious seafood, a day aboard a pirate ship, a jungle tour, swimming with our dolphin Azteca and of course shopping!

Here we are on the Predator set where the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie "Predator" was filmed. The movie was filmed in the jungle in Puerto Vallarta.We rode in a tour bus to almost the top of the mountain on this treacherous dirt rode and back down again and lived to tell about it!

Posing for a picture in the town square. We enjoyed walking along the boardwalk in the evenings and buying trinkets from the local vendors.

Lily had her hair braided by a couple of local women. She was real good about it and sat still the whole time.

A Day of Play at the San Diego Children's Museum

We had a nice time at the Children's Museum. Christian and Lily loved the "pillow fight room". They didn't want to leave. One of our favorite activities there was making cars out of wood blocks and then racing them down the ramp. Alex took some pictures of the kids having fun on his I Phone. His phone takes OK pictures.

A Fun Time at the San Diego Fair

Every year we go to the fair. We always enjoy it. Alex and I enjoy checking out the exhibits. Over the years we've bought some neat gadgets there. We also like the food. Our favorites are the grilled corn, the Indian fry bread and the apple towers. Yum! The kids love the rides best of all.
